I saw this article a couple days ago and I knew I had to write about it. Before I go into the actual story I'm going to say that a man paid $3 million for a gold iphone. Yah that's is a lot of money.
The article is rediculus! People pay so much for these uninportant things when they could donate to charity or something. People are selfish. The most expensive TV is $2.3 million becuase it is covered in gold, diamonds, and alligator skin. It is a PrestigeHD Supreme Rose Edition by Stuart Hughes That is just stupid to have that all on a TV. The most exspensive hotel room is a Royal Penthouse Suite, Hotel President Wilson in Geneva with a price at $65,000 per night. This is rediculous! There really is no reason to pay that much for a hotel. The most exspensive motorcycle is priced at $700,000 it is a Dodge Tomahawk V10 Superbike. The most expensive golf club is a Long-Nose Putter Stamped "A.D.," attributed to Andrew Dickson which is priced at $181,000. The most expensive car is a 1954-55 Mercedes-Benz W196 at a price of $24 million. The most expensive house is Antilla at a prive of $1 billion dollars. The most expensive yacht is an Eclipse at the price of 1.2 billion euros. The most Expensive speakers are Transmission Audio Ultimate System at a price of $2 million per pair. The most expensive ring is a Chopard Blue Diamond Ring priced at $16.26 million dollars. All these things and prices are dumb to me. Why pay that much for anything? These are things that people do not need these are all wants. This money could go to so many places where they need it. It pains me to see money wasted like that. I know if i had that much money I would help other people.

Facebook killing your career!
I got on the internet today and this article was the first thing that caught my eye. 6-career-killing-facebook-mistakes is the title of the article. The article talks about six reasons why facebook can hurt your job opportunities. The first reason is inappropriate pictures, this is reasonable because now over 30% of companies use facebook as a way to screen a potential employee and if they see pictures of you wasted it's not going to make you look that good. The second reason is complaining about your current job. I mean if a boss looks at your post and sees that you hate your job he/she might just releive you of those duties. The third reason is posting conflicting information to your resume. The example the article give is that if you say that you have a degree from Harvard and on your facebook it says that you graduated from UCLA you will probably be cut from interviews. The fourth reason is statuses you wouldn't want your boss to see. If you put that your boss is so stupid for this and that reason you probably wont have to worry about it anymore because you will be fired. The fifth reason is not understanding your security settings. You can set your facebook to only allow friends you want to see your facebook homepage. This could solve all your problems right off the bat. I know a lot of people have this setting up and I agree that everyone should have it on so that perverts and other weird people cannot see your personal information. The sixth and final reason losing by association. I think this is the most true, if you have pictures of you and your friends drinking and what not it will look really bad on you. Even if you don't have a drink in your hand and all your friend do this makes you look like a partier and no boss wants that. It also says at the very end that you should have two facebooks one that is yours for friends and one that is just for professional use. Overall I agree with this article. A lot of people I know from back home have gotten fired becuase of inapropriate things on thier facebook. People do put studpid things on facebook, some things I don't even know what they were thinking. I beleive a lot more companies are going to start using these social networks to do background checks on potential employees. This might make people clean up thier acts a little but I doubt it, they will probably just make their profiles private and create another facebook for perfessional use only.

Should animal attacks really be that suprising?
I thought of this subject after the killing of the veteran whale trainer a while ago. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/AmazingAnimals/whale-kills-trainer-sea-worlds-shamu-staduim/story?id=9932526. This link I have given you takes you to the article on the killing. My thoughts on the subject were that we should not mess with wild animals. This is not the first time a killer whale has attacked a person. Yet we still put people in the water with an animal that weighs over 12,000 pounds. This is a tragedy don't get me wrong. It is just we are suprised that a wild animal has attacked a person. People might say that it wasn't a wild animal, it was an animal that grew up in captivity. I will tell these people that they are wrong. Any animal is still an animal and will always keep their basic instincts no matter where they are. Timothy Treadwill was a man who lived with bears for many years and he was an expert in his field, but he got to close to a certain bear and it killed and ate him. No matter how well you know the animal they are all not the same. There is a new show on Animal Planet (http://www.animalplanet.com/) that is called Fatal Attractions. If you go to this website and then go to fatal attractions and look for "Travis the chip 911 call" you will be shocked. This show deals with people who get close to their animals and out of the blue they attack. . This site is a link to one of the shows. This particlular piece is a call from Sandra Herald to the police talking about how her PET chimp is attacking her freind. This attack leaves her freind with no hands or nose and almost all the bones in her face crushed. If you watch it you will be suprised to hear what the owner says at the end of the video. Other pet attacks include tigers, lepords, snakes, and komodo dragons. Also note this is not the first time a chimp has attacked a person and almost killed them. I have named the most abnormal animals for attacks.
Dogs are mans best freind right? In 2007 33 people were killed by dogs, 23 in 2008 and 33 in 2009. Just this year alone as of right now there has been 8 fatal dog attacks. Dogs killing poeople! Yah I know right! 77.5 dogs are owned in the US. Dogs are not the only regular household pets to hold resposible for attacks, cats have also been know to attack their owners. Even though we call them domesticated they still are animals and we as people should respect that. All animals have their limits. A lot of the time people push them over and then people get attacked. Respect all animals even if they are your pet because at heart they still have their wild instincts.

"US troops withdrawing en mass from Haiti"
This article was in the Yahoo news today. I was just looking through to see what to do my blog on today, see if anything interesting was on that I could talk about. I saw this article and I stopped looking right there. I immediately opened up the article and started reading. As I read on and on I became angry with the whole article. We are pulling out so fast and so soon after the earthquake. The interviews with some of the Haiti residents said that they were happy with us helping and wished we could stay. We can stay in Iraq though, even when they are still attacking us becuase they want us to leave. I believe this is so stupid. We will stay where we are not wanted, but scram where we are needed. At the end of the article a person left a comment that said, "How can we get out so fast here, no oil?" These made me smile. I think the reason for the smile is becuase I think it's true. There is nothing there that we want or need, so we can just get up and leave. My own opinion is that we should stay. We are doing a good thing. We are helping clean the place up and keeping crowd control. This is just another example of the US prioritizing. We would wrather help ourselfs then others. We come off as a nice country but when it comes down to it, we stay where thier is something we want.

How does facebook in class affect the way students perform. Well it hurts us no matter what. In class the teacher makes his/her main points. Usually this information will be on a test or final exam. In any class with a teacher who allows their students to have their computers up, more than half the students will be on facebook. The worst thing is that students don't care if the teachers know. I have seen myself as a teacher was lecturing half the class was on facebook. I was sitting behind everyone that is how I know this. I understand some people are good and can do that and still pass the class by reading the book. A lot of other kids are not that fortunate and struggle in class. They do not think the computer is the problem they think it is the teachers fault.

Violence in video games.
Studies show that violence in video games has nothing to with violence in real life. People want to say that it affects small children. Almost all small children are violentl. It is a regular phase that children go through. A study has shown that most people who do violent crimes have less media knowledge than a regular person does. It's all about the kids, adults play these games too, but you don't hear about them because they don't commit crimes. "Juvenile violent crime in the United States is at a 30-year low." Says the study Reality Bytes: Eight Myths About Video Games Debunked. When is the last time you heard of a girl that has committed a shooting. a super long time ago. that's when. Girl gamers have steadily been increasing throughout the years. The media will leave out all the facts so it looks like video games are the bad gus. Studies show that video gaming increases had eye coordination, and our critical thinking skills. Most violent children have been picked on and miss treated when thy were younger. School is the biggest stress factor on children. The most crucial thing is friends. If a child has no friends in school they become solitary and non-social. Video gaming is over half inter-social and even when it is a single player game they have freinds helping and telling them what to do. Video gamers usually are not the most healthiest people. This would be the biggest peroblem with video gaming is laziness. Parents are the biggest complainers about violent video games. This is why all video games have ratings on them such as: EC-early child, E-everyone, E+10-everyone over the age of 10, T-teen 13 and older, M-mature 17 and older, AO-adults only 18 and over, RP-Rating Pending has not been submitted to the ESRB. The ESRB is the Enertainment Software Rating Board. They regulate all games and software so to not offend anyone. All in all video games are not the best things but, have not been proven cause shooting or violence in young ones.
