How does facebook in class affect the way students perform. Well it hurts us no matter what. In class the teacher makes his/her main points. Usually this information will be on a test or final exam. In any class with a teacher who allows their students to have their computers up, more than half the students will be on facebook. The worst thing is that students don't care if the teachers know. I have seen myself as a teacher was lecturing half the class was on facebook. I was sitting behind everyone that is how I know this. I understand some people are good and can do that and still pass the class by reading the book. A lot of other kids are not that fortunate and struggle in class. They do not think the computer is the problem they think it is the teachers fault.

  1. I find students who are constanly typing and glued to their computer screens during class is really disrespectful to the teacher as well as the peer around them. I can remember in my physics class last semester, during lecture all I could hear over the Mr. Gilberts voice was the annoying taping and clicking of the keys. The funny thing is, when it came time to take a test, everyone had their computers closed, and the ones who would always be on their computers complained about the test and did not know the answers. I was one of the first to finish my test. I cant say that I always been this way, I too use to be on my computer constanly, till I looked at it a differnt way and understood that I have my future in my hands now, and getting good grades will pay off in the end.
